It was not easy for a young man to talk about menstruation in a room full of students aged between 10-17 given the social stigma around menstruation! But at Campaign RED, our volunteers, be female or male, feel equally confident to talk about menstruation and to think differently! Thus, our most promising change makers have been young university students since we began our work in 2017. With the motto of engaging youth in the positive change for society as well as help them with social norms that discriminate against women and girls, we dedicate a lot of efforts to select volunteers, train them on important skills like public speaking, facilitation and professionalism. These university-level students come from diverse backgrounds.
